THE WHY…

As two creatives who have built their brands successfully outside of comic books whilst still being synonymous with comic book fandom, Jermaine Riley (writer/artist) and Glen Murphy (writer/editor) discovered a kinship with one another.

No matter what they would venture into, the comic book influence would shine through, making their individual projects in music and dance stand out amongst their peers. Quickly, Riley took on the title of the UK’s “R&B Superman”, with an album and several other Superman-themed mixtapes and music videos to boot, as Murphy made a name for himself in the dance world, devising entire dance pieces and routines centred around superheroes and their unique abilities.

With many of today's popular comic books bogged down with decades of complicated backstory, Riley and Murphy are giving comic book enthusiasts and would-be readers the perfect fresh start in the form of a vigilante husband and wife with a suit made of alien technology at their disposal. Kindred’s first official leap into the comic book industry promises to be eye-catching, endearing and powerful enough to capture the hearts of comic book fans desperate for something new.
